If kisses could leave marks on skin
We’d be a colorful two
I think you’d be a rosy pink
And I a royal blue.
Colors on cheeks, and heads, and lips
Sitting atop our skin
Giving signals, clues, and hints
Of the emotions that lie within
But emotions cannot stain our flesh
Love is only an abstract art
