Mad Hatter's Tea Party

Here we go everybody!!! This monster is finally done. It took forever for me to draw and even longer for Natalie to shade in. Pretty intense stuff here

Anyway, as the title says, this is the Mad Hatter's Tea Party (yes, the Alice in Wonderland one). Only, this is a bit different. Our whole 'group' in school are embodying the Characters!!!

Here's the Breakdown (Starting from Left to Right)

-The Hare (top left) : This is Ciara, she was kind of hard to pick a character for....so Nat and I left her for last to pick, and this was the character she got stuck with.

-Cheshire Cat (bottom left) : Our friend Leah is representing this character, and she does a pretty good job. She's really witty and charming in her own way, which is similar to the cheshire cat. She's not quite as creepy as the crazy cat, but it works just the same.

-Doormouse (next to the Hare) : I am embodying this character. Natalie says how cute and 'mousey' I am all the time, so I guess this was kind of her choice of character for me. I had so much trouble drawing myself in that stupid little teapot!!!!!

-Mad Hatter (isn't it obvious?) : Natalie got this character. It was a really easy choice. Her larger than life personality and crazy antics made her the perfect person for this character. And she loves Johnny Depp, so they make a lovely little "Mad Hatter" couple

-The Caterpillar (top right) : Our acquaintance Shubha got this character. Not really sure why...I guess it was kind of revenge on her =3 tehe. The caterpillar is pretty wise so I guess Shubha may fit that way....i guess....I really just don't know!! But I love her skirt-tail-thing!!!!!

and last but not least...

-The White Rabbit (bottom right) : This was probably the easiest choice of the bunch! Our friend Kathleen was cast as this role for the very obvious reason that she is ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS late and disorganized. It's really funny sometimes, and we love her for it. And what's a mad hatter's tea party without the white rabbit?!

* In case you didn't notice, none of the 'main characters'- such as Alice, Queen of Hearts- are in here (white rabbit is pretty main-stream, i'll admit). This is because Nat and I agreed that we didn't want anyone to feel "less" or "backup" to anyone else in our group. It was for fair representation! We didn't need a "Boston Tea Party" at our "Mad Hatter's Tea Party" hahaha
